2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
Burgundy plum on the nose with notes of mocha, lightly roasted coffee, violets, and graham crackers. Followed by anise, strawberries, blackstrap molasses, and spearmint. The palate is plush with a velvety entry and a pillowy, marshmallow mid-palate which is framed with fruit and oak tannins. A pleasant and agreeable amount of acid brings freshness to the palate. Very approachable.
